About Me

Experiencing life means experiencing the world around us.  For many years, travel has been my passion.  While there are many who love to travel, everyone is unique when it comes to their travel experiences and favorite destinations.  I want to share my adventures, lessons learned, and tips on traveling.  Being a bit frugal, I love to save money where I can and believe that spending less allows you to really connect with the places, people, and culture in your travels.

However, travel is not the only thing that matters to me.  More than anything, I love my family.  My wife has been a part of my life and travels.  My kids will be as well.  And together, travel, family, and my life experiences have shaped who I am today.

So join me on the biggest adventure ever taken – life.  With its ups and downs, I hope to share my passion for traveling and a little more about who I am.

If you want to read more of my writing, check out my travel articles, tips, and travel guides on my Sacramento Budget Travel Examiner page.  You can also check out my posts as a writer on Europe A La Carte.

I totally agree. Travel and my family are the 2 biggest influences on my life and have made me who I am today, too. And my kids will travel along with me every step of the way. I can’t wait to see how traveling (and hopefully living abroad) shape their lives and perspectives.
I will explore your posts more later when I have more time, but it looks great so far! I’m going to update my travel blog links on my blog, and I will add yours to the list. Good luck– you will be busier than ever with this project added to your plate! (Hee hee).

Where was the photo taken that is at the top of your blog? I want to go there!

The photo at the top of my blog is from Lake Bled, Slovenia. It’s a beautiful place to visit and is located by the Alps. I can send more pics of it to you if you want to see it. Thanks for checking out my blog!
